WeezleWings Ferret Sanctuary
There is a place called WeezleWings, a love filled sanctuary,
where ferrets come to live their lives, the old, the weak, the weary.
The founder of this place, this woman truly is a gem,
for she has left her other loves to give her life to them.
The ferrets there are happy, and they’re never left alone,
They live their dream, the one they hoped for, a forever home.
Each ferret gets her love as if they were they only one,
she makes up for those humans whose commitment they had shunned.
And so, so many ferrets there live out their golden years,
She knows the love she’s given them has quieted their tears.
If not for WeezleWings they would have never known such peace,
They’d never learned that love could come from humans such as she.
It’s rare to find a soul like hers, she gives more than she takes,
But in her hour of need she can depend on her fursnakes.
They’ve helped her overcome her fears and make her strong again.
and when her day is done, she turns to them and says….. Amen.
